House paint is classified as hazardous waste.
So you cannot just pour the paint out or throw it in your trash!
Do you have paint cans sitting around your house, but you don't know what to do with them?
Many households have empty paint cans sitting around in their garages, basements, and storage rooms that they don't know how to get rid of. House paint is classified as hazardous waste, so you can't just dump it down the drain or in your trash can. These cans take up valuable space. They look messy. All the while, the paint inside is just going bad over time, making it unable to be reused in the future.

No. We cannot accept paint that has been mixed with anything -- including other paint.

No, we cannot accept paint in containers other than the original can it was purchased in.
We recycle as much as possible! Some paints we pick up can be recycled and others will need to processed for safe disposal. This is determined by factors such as the type of paint, the age of the paint, the color, how it was stored, etc.
Once we pick up your paint cans and take them back to our facility, we will look over the contents of each paint can to determine how much can be recycled or donated and which cans of paint are ready to be prepped for disposal.
Yes, we recycle the plastic and the metal from any paint cans that we do not donate.
